Next Wave is excited to launch the our Arts Advisory, a new initiative ensuring artists’ voices are central to shaping our programs from 2026 onwards.
This Advisory brings together diverse, intergenerational perspectives to keep our programming responsive, inclusive, and relevant to emerging artists and the wider arts sector. Advisory members will provide critical feedback on programs, embed local knowledge and cultural perspectives, support artist selection, and contribute to the development of Next Wave’s artistic activities. Their insights will help strengthen our impact and connection within the local arts community.

We encourage applications from those identifying as d/Deaf, disabled, First Nations, Blak, culturally and linguistically diverse (CaLD), LGBTQIA+, connected to Merri-bek, regional Victoria, or past Next Wave programs.
