Next Wave X co-commission artists announced

Next Wave has partnered with nine organisations across Australia to commission new work for Next Wave Festival 2020. Next Wave X provides artists with national support to develop and present ambitious new work through increased funding, residency space, expert mentorship and multiple presentation opportunities.

This unique co-commissioning initiative, now in its second year, provides artists with resources and support to present on a national stage, without creative compromise. In 2018, Next Wave X artists successfully toured their works nationally and internationally after Next Wave Festival.

In 2019, Next Wave will partner with the following organisations to support selected artists:
