Present

We focus on critical and creative practices around artist wellbeing and sustainable practice – one of the key motivations behind Next Wave’s transition in 2021 from a festival to year-round programming. Futures

Next Wave’s Young Artistic Directorate has curated a durational art party to celebrate 40 years of Next Wave! The during:next party will transform Brunswick Mechanics into a futuristic performance space, emphasising the idea of evolution that builds on the past.
