Celeste Aldahn

Celeste Aldahn is an early-career producer working to further public engagement with art, artists and ideas through unique audience experiences. She has worked in programming, production and engagement at the Art Gallery of NSW; Art Gallery of South Australia; WOMADelaide; Adelaide festival; Tandanya National Aboriginal Cultural Institute; Carclew; and as Team Leader of the Australian Pavilion at Venice Biennale in 2013. She’s co-directed FELTspace Gallery, gigged across Australia and the world in multiple live bands, and produced independent contemporary music festivals Half Strange (2016, 2017) and BungSound (2018).

Celeste has exhibited nationwide at FELTspace, the JamFactory, AEAF, CACSA and the SASA Gallery in South Australia; Blindside, Neon Parlour and Seventh Gallery in Victoria; and Firstdraft, 55 Sydenham Road and Screen Space in New South Wales; the Canberra Contemporary Art Space; and Poimena and Sawtooth Gallery in Tasmania, and held residencies with Vitalstatistix and Artspace.

Celeste is currently working for the National Gallery of Australia.
