Hello!

thursday 21 june 2012

Howdy readers,

What a tumultuous week we've had with tremors in the earth and Australian media not to mention the bitter cocktail of icy wind, slanted rain and general misery Melbourne's been serving up. Yes, Winter Solstice is upon us, but don't let the colder, shorter days get you down, there's still plenty of indoor activities to keep you busy. This weekend, join us in celebrating the end of Arts House Season 1 with a showcase of Next Wave alumni and heaps of other fine artists here at the Meat Market. We've also got tickets to give away and some great opportunities for artists and audiences alike.

This is your Pegboard and this week's Highlight of the Internetz goes to a pint sized Gosling in pleather tearing it up at a Morman talent show.

Enjoy!

GIVEAWAY: Soundstream Collective

Newly formed ensemble Soundstream Collective brings the rarely performed Circle Series by contemporary Polish composer Hanna Kulenty to Melbourne Recital Centre this Saturday, 23 June.
