Food for Thought talks

Food for Thought has taken over the stunning view at Footscray Community Arts Centre with a standing exhibition and dinner parties on until 27 May. Drawing inspiration from Judy Chicago’s seminal artwork ‘The Dinner Party’, LEVEL ARI are bringing people together at the dinner table to create discussions about women and feminism.

But that’s not all – they will also host special guests for a series of talks at the exhibition. The talks are free and open to the public. Join the conversation between 12-1pm on the following dates:

Wednesday 23 May – Virginia Fraser reflects on “Generations: plurality and difference”

Friday 25 May – Pamela Turton-Turner reflects on “Women in the media”

Sunday 27 May – Deborah Kelly reflects on “How can art contribute to political change for women in the 21st century?”
