Phantom Limbs (NW Alumni 2010) are bringing their latest double bill TRTH+FNTSY to the Melbourne Fringe Festival this October.
Fantasy Solo 5, a work by guest choreographer Luke George, allows one solo to shift the shape of five dancers between the real and the imagined, exploring the differences in oneness and our perceptions of others and ourselves.
In Truth, Phantom Limbs fuses individual practice with the collective biography of the company, staying true to their experimental dance-making core. The result is a dynamic, ever-changing work that gives insight into the people who made it, showcasing the common threads in varied practices.
Featuring NWF 2014 artists James Welsby, Rebecca Jensen and Natalie Abbott with Amy Macpherson and Ally Larielle.
GIVEAWAY! We’ve got one double pass to the opening night of TRTH+FNTSY Wednesday 2 Oct 8:30pm. For your chance to win, email firstname.lastname@example.org telling us what the medical term ‘phantom limb’ refers to.
Tickets $20/15 Concession.
