Alumni for Site is Set

Field Theory’s annual site-responsive performance festival is back! Site Is Set 2016 will see durational performance in the Queen Victoria Market, unusual tours at the NGV, one-on-one readings and more, featuring a host of Next Wave alumni.

Together, Field Theory (featuring Martyn Coutts [2004, 2006], Mish Grigor [2008, 2010], Jason Maling [2008], Lara Thoms [2006, 2008], Jackson Castiglione [2010] and Bron Batten [2010]), present 9000 minutes for the Public Art Melbourne Biennial Lab.

Jess Olivieri (2010) presents Death of The White Horse, using colonial perceptions, contemporary misreadings and fictional inventions to reconsider the grand frame of the art institution.

Martyn Coutts (2004, 2006) presents The Shell Game,  a personal model for divination into the many possible futures of the Spratly Islands in the South China Sea.
