Alumni for Tiny Stadiums

Once again Tiny Stadiums bursts into the streets of Erskineville in November, with a huge season of live performance and site-specific installations. Of course there’s a stack of Next Wave alumni involved, presenting unique perspectives on domesticity and family life, property, sub-cultures and nightlife.

2012 alumni Team Mess will present anew immersive video-performance work Trojans, inspired by fast paced Mexican soap operas, while 2010 alumna Frances Barrett (Brown Council) presents A Manual for Time Travel,  a sound piece that assists audiences to travel in and out of time and space.

2012 alumna Nat Randall brings the girls to the front with feminist collective Hissy Fit, inviting women up on to the stage to engage with and celebrate the assertive and defiant parts of their identities.

There’s many more cool projects to explore this year, so jump in and check out the full program. Tiny Stadiums runs from 14 – 22 November.
